Overview
The BudX FIFA Fan Festival at Dubai Harbour was one of six global flagship FIFA Fan Festivals during Qatar 2022, featuring live performances, food and drink, fan activations and an interactive zone with player meet-and-greets and football challenges.
As one of six global FIFA Fan Festivals for Qatar 2022, the BudX event at Dubai Harbour ran for a full month, and type A operated it throughout: 150,000 guests across 30 days, with crowd management, health and safety, accreditation, traffic and security sustained every single night.
A month-long event is an endurance test for an operation. We built a system that reset clean every night and held its standard for thirty of them, absorbing match-day surges without ever letting the site feel like a stadium.
